It looks like an error in the accuracy of counting the position of the track points. On the second track the same points does not move.Īll files I converted to mov extension with Convert to Edit-frendly function, so this is not problem with bitrate. The error grows closer to the end of the track. On one of audio track some points/entry moved to right on 2-3 s. I encounter a problem when I save and reopen the project. I use Shotcut 17.12.03 and have Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. It's frustrating because when you're spending hours editing a show, and you export you expect the synk to be dead on. In the past, I've used Avid and never had issues like this. I've tried a number of different export settings, and I think I can get it a little bit better, but it feels like there's something not right. When I try to export, to what I think should be the appropriate format for a DVD, selecting the DVD template from the export options, I consistently get audio that is about 15 frames out of sync with the video. Shotcut is a clean-cut, bare-bones open source video editor thats a one-stop shop for getting your content revised and completed with minimal fuss. Recently, I needed to create a DVD from a 90-minute Sunday service, at the church. Shotcut has advanced video editing features, but its audio editing capabilities are. My workflow starts with an ATEM which captures at 720P 59.94 FPS. Most video software would have this as export options included. I suspect it has something to do with the source video and the export video being too different for the calculations to appropriately sync the audio and video. For some reason, I can't get audio and video to stay in sync when exporting. Major features include support for a wide range of formats no import required meaning native timeline. A few years back, I reported an issue with audio video sync. Shotcut is a free, open source, cross-platform video editor for Windows, Mac and Linux.
